Journal criticized for a study claiming the sun is causing global warming
In the back and forth conversations Ken Rice was not even aware of SIM and denied the size of sun displacement caused by the planets… until Zharkova proved it with the papers.
Plus, they (Rice and Brown) have accused Valentina’s Team in violation of Kepler laws but she obtained this motion from JPL Ephemeris.
(JPL = NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, ephemeris)
(Ephemeris is a table or data file giving the calculated positions of a celestial object at regular intervals throughout a period)
Let’s take a look at Mike Brown’s Post to Valentina:
My letter on the dodgy #climate claims of Valentina Zharkova being given an uncritical run in @australian by Graham Lloyd.
The Sun-Earth distance hasn’t been rapidly changing in recent centuries, nor will it during the coming millennium. https://t.co/cvZVDh2Z9m pic.twitter.com/wovblsOE00

Here is Valentina’s Response:
7/17/2019 Sun and climate – The Australian, 7/17/2019
Sun and climate- Michael Brown (Letters 15/7) criticises our paper, which was one of three discussed by Graham Lloyd in his discussion of solar and magnetic cycles associated with climate cycles on Earth (“Fresh insights into climatic effects of cosmic changes”, 13-14/7).
Brown is disappointed that our work on subtle variations in the Earth’s separation from the sun is at odds with Kepler’s laws (a cornerstone of 17th century astronomy). Had he read beyond the summary he would have found that close links between oscillations of the solar baseline magnetic field, solar irradiance and temperature are established without any involvement of solar inertial motion.
Our paper is one of more than a dozen related papers by very esteemed authors published in leading physics journals cited by us; we are confident it represents a useful contribution to 21st century astronomy.

Thanks for your e-mail and your interest in Del Monte Foods.
We’re aware that some retail stores may currently be out of Del Monte Foods, and apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment. Our fruits, vegetables, and tomatoes are packed at the peak of ripeness, and the growing seasons and crop yield may vary each year.
Occasionally, as in this situation, the previous year’s crop may not meet 100% of consumer demand. As a result, consumers may find that the product is out-of-stock for several weeks. This is a temporary situation, and we expect to return to normal supply levels by mid-to late August.
Thanks again for contacting us. If we can be of more help, please call us at 800-543-3090, Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time, or use the Contact Us link on our website at http://www.delmonte.com/.
